Thunder and Lightning

Not too frightening  LOL  I love a good thunderstorm and the air is so charged, it's very invigorating! I just love it!! :-D
I must apologize my readers, I have not really been doing my usual blogs. Just that work has been extra busy. We have 2 people out and one of them is our email guy and since I used to do emails when I was a rep I am filing in for him. Its not going as well as I would have liked because I still have to help my reps with their questions and that takes up time from the day. I dont mind of course, I mean it's my job, but I dont want the emails to get behind. I may go in on Saturday to knock 50 or so out for next week.
Speaking of next week, Monday is a holiday here in the US  WOOHOO!! Not sure if it is anywhere else. It's Memorial Day, un-official star of summer.  All the community pools are open, and the farmers markets are a go! I love going to the farmers markets. They have some awesome local veggies and last year I even got eggs from a  local farm. They were incredible tasting. The strawberries will be coming out soon and I adore fresh strawberries, blueberries too but that happens in July. The Japanese have a saying that loosely translates to eat things in their season and they will always taste better. So true and summer fruits are just so good! This is a 3 day relaxing weekend, possibly head out to the in-laws which would be nice and I want to go to a movie for heavens sake. I am so behind as there are many I want to see. The Avengers is number 1 though.  I also plan on just sitting out on my deck getting some sun and reading my book. I downloaded then onto my kindle fire and they are the Fifty Shades Of Gray series that I believe I mentioned prior to this. Well I am almost done with book number 2 and oh man - so sexy and I am hooked!! Love reading it right before bed...gives ya good dreams! hehehe
Changing subjects here......the other day I got  my car's brakes done and it was a bigger chunk of cash than I was expecting. It came to $938 dollars. In trying to hold off as long as possible but by doing so the rotors in the front needed replacing so, ipso facto more money not less! At lease now I can put the top down and not cringe when I hear that scraping. I suppose that should have been a clue to get to the dealership sooner..sigh  I really can't complain though, the car will be 5 years old in August and it has a little over 71,000 miles on it. I was concerned about my plane fare to England next year since I used my 401K money to help pay our taxes so what Im going to do is after my last payment in August I will save the amount of my payment for a few months and I will have my money for my ticket again...yay!!!
Well peeps, tea is finished and time to settle in with my porn, er....I mean my book! LOL  So Until next time Ciao For Now
